Quieting the Mind and Heart in Donegal
Mindulness meditation is a simple practice that helps us find our balance and come back in tune with our centre or 'true self' on a daily basis.
It involves practical, awareness-based steps that lead us away from judging ourselves and others and root us in a natural state of ease and contentment.
When practicing mindfulness we are relearning how to 'just be' in each moment, here and now, without thinking about the past or future.
The meditations are very straight-forward. They involve focussing on our breath and body sensations while sitting, walking or lying down, and also generating kindness for ourselves and others. All of these meditations when practiced regularly have a positive impact on our mental and physical health.
